Final Fantasy Rankings Week 13

East Division: Dragons [8-5] earn their 4th division title in a row by winning the final 7 games of the season and will have the number two seed.

Central Division: Buckwheat [9-4] with their 1st division title, will have the number one seed throughout the playoffs

West Division: One Angry Gook [7-6], their 2nd division title in a row, will be the number three seed to start the playoffs.

Wild Card Seedings: Pimp Juice [6-7], Crippled Monkeys [6-7], Big Daddy [5-8], The Stud Stable [4-9]

1 (1)Dragons8-5-0Dragons have scored the second most points the last six weeks of the season while going 6-0 as well. The team turned the corner with Romo, Chris Johnson and Fitz all dominating in point scoring.
2 (3)Dynasty6-7-0The only team to score 150+ points three times this season. There is a lot this team has to offer and the only problem it has is which players to start each week. Also, for the first time in league history, this was not the team with the most points scored against. Yeah, this team had that honor three years in a row.
3 (2)Crippled Monkeys6-7-0Second moist points in scoring, but losing the final two games of the season was a downer to a great draft. The curse of the highest auction player lives on.
4 (7)Rutting Bucks6-7-0Over the last six weeks, this is the team that has scored the most points. I've heard a few of you talking at Stickboy's house that you were a bit scared to face this power house in the playoffs. Winning the final two weeks and just made the 8th seed.
5 (4)Thunder Choads7-6-0Lost Steve Slaton for the remainder of the season. Can ADP and Hightower be enough for a playoff run. The receivers are coming on strong in the last half of the season, plus the defense has been putting up a ton of points as of late.
6 (5)Pimp Juice6-7-0I must give props for sticking with your stud RBs despite me giving you a hard time for not starting Maroney the last three weeks or so. Bad luck of the schedule as you were one of two teams on the short end of the tie breakers, welcome to the Beer Bowl. Oh, and this is the team that had the most points scored against.
7 (6)Grease Slappers7-6-0Squeezed out a win with a last minute field goal to end the season. Team may be in trouble if the Colts sit their starters once they gain home field advantage.
8 (9)One Angry Gook7-6-0Won the final two game of the season to edge out Grease for the West title. Right now this team has the hottest receivers but the coldest running backs [due to injuries]. Is this the new winning formula?
9 (8)Stickboy7-6-0Only won two of it's last seven games of the season, has scored the least amount of points during that stretch, yet at the early part of the season, this was the team to beat. Can it put it together for the playoffs, I don't know.
10 (10)Big Daddy5-8-0Ended with a loss to a disappointing season. Third most points scored against, but had a few decent weeks to make it interesting. Had a few players change teams mid season and this team faltered quite often.
11 (11)The Stud Stable4-8-0Losing Ronnie Brown really hurt this team with Moss finally coming on strong in the last half of the season. Brees was huge but the rest of the team wasn't getting it done each week.
12 (12)Buckwheat9-4-0A fitting end to the season by scoring the second lowest score of the week, just like clock work, it played the lowest score of the week and gets yet another victory.

Fantasy Rankings Week 12

Week: 1 | 2| 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12

Final regular season game. You knew by the final week, it would still come down to tie breakers.

East Division: The division winner in the East is simple, Dragons vs Thunder Choads. The winner of this game is the East Division Champion.

Central Division: Buckwheat has earned the Central Division Champion as of week 12. Congrats!

West Division: The West is between One Angry Gook and Grease Slappers. Both teams are 6-6 with OAG having the tiebreaker over Grease. If there both OAG and Grease win or lose, the title is OAG's. The only combination for Grease to win the division is for OAG to lose, Grease to win.

Wild Card Seedings: This is going to be a mess this year with so many having the same overall record. When two teams are tied, it's so easy to determine the winner. Add in three or more teams and there are many additional rules that come into play.

Official League Rules: 7.3 Tie Breakers
Wild Card Tiebreaker Setup – 5 Teams

  • Overall Winning Percentage

  • Head to head results – 2 teams only **

  • Most overall points scored

  • Reverse Points Allowed

  • Power Rank

  • Coin flip


** Use winning percentage rule #3 – If 3 teams are involved, in order for ‘Head to Head’ to be in effect, each of the tied teams must have played all of the other tied teams at least once.

** Use ‘Division Best’ rule – only the best remaining team in each division is compared against one another to determine wild card seedings.

As of week 12, five teams are tied with a 6-6 record, only four of the five will make the playoffs. With week 13 being the final regular season game, I do believe seven or more wins will guarantee a playoff spot. If you have only six wins after this week, you'll need a bit of luck on your side that the tie breakers fall in your favor.

Potentially there could be six teams with a 7-6 record. One team would be a division winner, the remaining five would be wild card teams. The good news is, there would be four teams with a 6-7 record or less who would make up the Beer Bowl. We don't live in a perfect world, so I don't expect it to be any easier when the playoff bracket is finalized.

2 (1)Crippled Monkeys6-6-0It is what it is....tough week to face 'Buck Buck and Buck Buck again'. I wonder if that saying is still funny after week 12?
3 (2)Dynasty6-6-0A good week, just not enough to win. Should get it done next week and cruise into the playoffs.
4 (5)Thunder Choads7-5-0The win wasn't pretty, but the overall team health is good, the bench put up great numbers and this team should fair well going into the playoffs.
5 (7)Pimp Juice6-6-0Laurence Maroney, 87 yards, 2 TD's, lead the RB's in points scored in Week 12 for this team. I know, how can you sit LT and Gore?
6 (4)Grease Slappers6-6-0The up and down season for Grease continues and their starting to get dinged by injuries.
7 (9)Rutting Bucks5-7-0Their getting the job done between the starters scoring 127 and the bench that scored another 101 points. I wouldn't want to face this team when they are rolling.
8 (6)Stickboy6-6-0Stickboy's slide continues as he desperately needs Roethlisberger back in the line up for any chance of winning. Plus relying on Rock Cartwright to carry the running game isn't helping.
9 (10)One Angry Gook6-6-0Turned it around in week 12, but is in a bind for healthy players.
10 (12)Big Daddy5-7-0Living on a prayer....
11 (8)The Stud Stable4-8-0Couldn't overcome the injury to Ronnie Brown and will look to rebuild in 2010.
12 (11)Buckwheat8-4-0I've lost that lovin' feeling,

Fantasy Rankings Week 11

Week: 1 | 2| 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11

Two more weeks in the regular season, finishing with divisional games.

In the East Division, it's all tied up at 6-5. If you are considering winning the division, you must win your next two games and pray you'll win the tie breaker.

Central Division is a bit easier to decipher. Buckwheat is up by two games, the only team that has a chance to catch him is Crippled Monkeys. If Monkeys win both games and Buckwheat loses both games [and they are very heavily injured] their winning percentage and the divisional record will be tied. Their head to head will be tied and it will come down to total points....right?

Lastly in the West Division, the division that has gone 1-7 in the last two weeks combined, Grease has a one game lead over One Angry Gook, a two game lead over Big Daddy and The Stud Stable. Daddy and Stables play each other and will eliminate one from at the very least a tie record with Grease. OAG and Grease play each other this week. This game is for the division. OAG won in their first meeting, if they win this week, they have the tie breaker over Grease. Also, OAG is 4-0 versus Grease overall in their previous meetings.

Should be an enjoyable week....

1 (1)Crippled Monkeys6-5-0Could be a serious contender in our playoffs if the Bills have now changed their passing game to feature Terrell Owens. This team cannot afford another injury to the running backs.
2 (2)Dynasty6-5-0A big comeback win on Monday night and shakes off last weeks low score of the season. Has one of the top receiving cores in the league plus that gift of a pickup, Rashard Mendenhall, that Grease Slappers regrets letting go of.
3 (4)Dragons6-5-0A 5 game winning streak and trying to capture his forth division title in a row. Will need his QBs to step up the next two weeks if they want a chance to win, but they now have Fitzgerald now on the easy part of the Arizona schedule.
4 (5)Grease Slappers6-5-0A solid week from the entire starting lineup, every position was in double figures with the worst performer of the week being Reggie Wayne. Third high score of the week, but took the loss....tissue?
5 (7)Thunder Choads6-5-0The team is looking good down the stretch. The only problem this team currently has is deciding which of the scorers to start from week to week.
6 (10)Stickboy6-5-0In the past three weeks, this team has scored the least amount of points combined. It may have turned the corner with Boldin and Arizona now on the easy part of their schedule. Plus the Steelers reverted back to being a passing team equals tons of QB points.
7 (3)Pimp Juice5-6-0How is it possible Maroney has 6 TD's in 5 weeks and you've only started him one of those weeks! I'm curious how Maroney and Tom Brady will fair against the Saints. It's good to see LT getting hot going into our playoffs and he may pay off for you after all.
8 (8)The Stud Stable4-7-0Stud Stables are in a pickle, a very untimely injury to Ronnie Brown, Roy Williams held without a catch, but this team has plenty of upside when Brees is firing on all cylinders and it gets big numbers from Randy Moss. This team just may limp into the playoffs.
9 (9)Rutting Bucks4-7-0Had an unfortunately loss last week despite scoring among the top of the pack. Could have easily won with a different combination of starters with the receivers. Should bounce back in week 12.
10 (6)One Angry Gook5-6-0Receivers were on fire last week, it almost countered the VERY injury plagued running game. I'm afraid the season may be headed to the beer bowl.
11 (12)Buckwheat8-3-0The win this week was performance, not luck of the schedule, congrats! This team has less depth than Grease Slappers, plus it will be without Megatron this week who finally scored huge. So you can throw him on the injury pile with Marshawn Lynch, Julius Jones, and Brian Westbrook....oh and Kurt Warner has a concussion and is more than likely out as Arizona heads into the easy part of it's schedule. humm, Stickboy and Dragons may not benefit with Matt Lienart starting at QB.
12 (11)Big Daddy4-7-0Had it's worst performance of the season, surprisingly they weren't playing Buckwheat. There was a time....there was a time when this team was a contender, but has slowly faded down the stretch.

Fantasy Rankings Week 10

Three weeks left in the regular season. The East Division is a mess with all four teams now at 5-5, it's anyone's division to win or lose. The Central Division is on the verge of a winner with team Buckwheat needing another win to clinch, or is it two wins? The West is a little closer, Grease has a 1 game lead over OAG with The Big Stud Daddy Stables only 2 game behind.

Will the Week 11 games make the playoff race a bit clearer or muddier....

1 (2)Crippled Monkeys5-5-0A very strong week 10 for the entire team, not necessarily the starters :-) but this team has a lot of upside to it from week to week, it just needs to win from week to week.
2 (1)Dynasty5-5-0This team feel off the face of the Fantasy Football world in week 10, a couple of key players on BYE week and a couple players had very tough opponents to play. Should get back in track in week 11, right?
3 (3)Pimp Juice5-5-0I had this team pegged as a Beer Bowl participant a few weeks ago, I've been swayed as of late. If it can keep Brady scoring like he can, plus get big numbers from both of it's running backs each week, it just might be enough to counter its inconsistent receiving core.
4 (4)Dragons5-5-0You counted this team out didn't you? Four decent wins in a row and now tied for the division lead in the East. Remember when I said this team always wins it's division....
5 (9)Grease Slappers6-4-0May have only lost Cedric Benson for the week, but has now gained McCoy with Westbrook out and may get some decent playing time out of Beenie Wells now. Can this team put back to back wins together, I doubt it.
6 (6)One Angry Gook5-5-0With Michael Turner with a high ankle sprain, listed as probable for W11, this team will be in trouble if Turner's injury forces him to miss games or split carries. Will need receiver help to offset any point loss by his absence.
7 (11)Thunder Choads5-5-0Gets Eli Manning back this week vs 28th passing ranked Falcons. Had his highest point total of the season in W10 thanks to ADP and Steve Smith [the original good one].
8 (5)The Stud Stable4-6-0Loses Ronnie Brown in week 11, perhaps more? Very thin at RB's now going into the cold season.
9 (7)Rutting Bucks4-6-0Three loses in a row, had a better week than last. Receivers are in a bit of a struggle, but Ricky Williams is the #1 guy in Miami with Ronnie Brown out.
10 (8)Stickboy5-5-0Four loses in a row now since he was last seen doing the MC Hammer dance. Has Roethlisberger against the Chiefs this week and may put up some numbers, hopefully the rest of the team gets on track.
11 (10)Big Daddy4-6-0Forte on track, the rest of the team, not so. Bowe is now suspended 4 weeks, and you know Brandon Marshall ain't putting up 30 points when you start him in week 11....
12 (12)Buckwheat7-3-0The owner of this team wears a necklace made of lucky rabbits feet and kisses horseshoes before submitting his lineup....

Fantasy Rankings – Week 9

Thanks Chad, thanks for ruining it all. In our quest to have everyone with a near .500 record, you had to get yet another win to be 6-3 while the rest of us have a combination with a 4 and a 5 in it. You are the odd team out, not us.

Really now, aside from Buckwheat, you ether sport a 5-4 record of a 4-5 record. At this point, which four teams wont make the playoffs? Which four teams should be in the playoffs? Every single team has had it's good weeks and it's bad weeks, but no one is dominating this year.

If you recall Dragon's schedule that first three seasons and his record for two of the three seasons, his schedule was very favorable to his success. Now compare his previous schedule to Buckwheats schedule in 2009....the torch has been passed.

2 (1)Crippled Monkeys4-5-0MJD leading the way for this team, money well spent. Hauschka, money not well spent. Another team that can string wins together and can go deep in the playoffs, but will they be consistent from week to week?
3 (11)Pimp Juice4-5-0Quietly, this team is putting together decent points week to week. Nothing ground shattering, unless Brady has a monster week. Is ranked third in All-Play ranking, so it has the potential.
4 (10)Dragons4-5-0I haven't been a believer in this team, but it is on a roll. They are ranked number 4 in points scored the past three weeks, what do you know, they're on a three game win streak.
5 (7)The Stud Stable4-5-0Is back to one game out of first place after an unfortunate start to the season. This team has slipped a bit in areas from the start, but their starting to get a favorable schedule.
6 (8)One Angry Gook5-4-0Just when I think this team is out of it, it pulls itself back into it. If only it can score big each week, we'd have a serious contender.
7 (4)Rutting Bucks4-5-0Was hurting without Thomas Jones, now that the BYE week is over, should get back to winning some games.
8 (12)Stickboy5-4-0Admittingly, my ranking of them to number 12 last week was not warranted. They can score points and have during the earlier part of the season, but currently riding a three game losing streak and dead last in points scored the past three weeks.
9 (5)Grease Slappers5-4-0Sadly, if the Eagles don't produce, neither does this Eagles heavy team.
10 (6)Big Daddy4-5-0Matt Forte, 33 yards rushing on 5 carries. Yeah, 5 carries. Luckily, 74 yards on 6 receptions. If it weren't for Peyton Manning on this team, it could be a lot scarier.
11 (3)Thunder Choads4-5-0Will get Adrian Peterson back this week, but not much else going on with the rest of the team.
12 (9)Buckwheat6-3-0For those of you who think it takes skill to play Fantasy Football need to look no further than this team right here. Last in scoring, last in power rank, last in points scored and luckily enough, last in points scored against. Stringing lucky wins together week after week gets you number 12 this week. On the plus side, Week 9's win you put up good numbers....finally.
