Semi-Finals Round Game Recaps….

The lead is 28.21 in favor of Stickboy, who has Cutler and the Bears defense to play. It's the Bears versus the Vikings at the TCF Bank stadium. If anyone out there can predict who will win this match up, please let me know. There are too many unpredictables going on with this Monday night classic, where do you begin? Good luck to both teams as I will be at the Minnesota Wild hockey game during the MNF game. Doesn't seam right, does it?

The top running back leading the way, Arian F...., I mean....Cedric Benson leading the way for the Crippled Monkeys in the Semi Finals round. Despite not having a quarterback with Aaron Rodgers out with a concussion, Rutting Bucks just didn't have it today with the remainder of his team. The Monkeys, with Jacoby Ford on the bench had yet another solid week lead by Cedric Benson. The Monkeys will now fight for their second Fantasy Bowl Championship versus the winner of the One Angry Gook vs. Stickboy match up.

We are in the final stretch of the regular season. It's division match ups until Week 13 ends. $5 dollar pickups start this week. Some division leaders are sitting good, while others are hanging on to dear life. The rest of the pack is tightening and it's anybody's guess who will make the playoffs and who will sit on the sidelines. Will the Central Division send all four teams into the playoffs?

Mark my words, one of these two teams will make the playoffs. Which one will make it, your guess is as good as mine. However, a big week for the Short Bus All-Stars couldn't have come at a better time. Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, the money players from draft night were a huge part of the point total. The All-Stars currently have the 10th best record which puts them outside of the playoffs, but this all but concluded win, will keep their hopes alive. Both teams will be sitting 5-6 after Monday nights game. Hustla will face the surging Thunder Choads, while the All-Stars will face division leading One Angry Gooks.

Thunder Choads (0-10) East 113.56	vs	One Angry Gook (8-2) East 110.84

Another big week for the Thunder Choads, for the second time in two weeks they will top 110 points. Sadly, their losing streak I believe will continue. OAG has Brandon Lloyd left to play and is down by three and some change. Unless Lloyd pulls up limp during pre-game warm ups, OAG should survive for their league leading 9th victory. The star of the week for OAG was the Ravens Defense with 23.58 points, with the Packers on the bench, this could have been a whole different story.

Dynasty (6-4) Central 109.07	vs	Grease Slappers (5-5) Central 106.68

2.39 points separate these two teams who are both within reach of the division lead. Dynasty has played everyone and Grease still has his QB to play. Unless there is a Tony Romo like injury, this one should be in favor of Grease by the end of the first quarter. This will put both teams at 6-5, pull in the Crippled Monkeys, and there are three teams in the division that will be at 6-5 and one game out of first place.  Dynasty will next face division leading Buckwheat, while Grease will face the Monkeys.

The Monkeys have not had this big of a week since Week 4, but this victory has to be the biggest of the season by knocking of the division leader and will pull them within one game of the division lead. Granted, there will be a log jam at second place in the division if Grease is victorious. But having four teams with a shot at the division with two games to go in the regular season will make for an exciting two weeks.

Both teams put up a good showing and each will score more points this week, but I'm calling this one for the Rutting Bucks. This will put them at 8-3, one game ahead of Stickboy. They were led by Steve Johnson, ummm, who the hell is Steve Johnson? Dragons who had won two weeks in a row, will fall to 3-8. This all but ends the season, yet, if they were to win out and the tie breakers fall their way, they could eek out Hustla or the All-Stars.

Pimp Juice (4-6) West 75.81	vs	Stickboy (6-4) West 110.15

This one is a final, Stickboy will move to 7-4 and one game out of first place in the West. Pimp Juice will gear up for the Beer Bowl with BenJarvus Green-Ellis leading the way. I really like saying BenJarvis Green-Ellis any chance I get. To be fair, if they do win out, they could end up at 6-7, would that be enough? Stickboy keeps his hopes alive at the division lead . It wasn't an earth shattering win, but it was a win via the QB, kicker and defense. The RBs and WRs only had one player in double digits. The one good thing for this team is they just happen to face Rutting Bucks next week. Can they pull off the upset, or will have another so-so showing?

Power Ranking Week 9

	4 (3)	Grease Slappers	4-5	Your quest to have a record higher than .500 was foiled by Tom Brady voodoo. Get over it already.
	5 (6)	Crippled Monkeys	5-4	Rob Bironas, back in the saddle again.
	6 (5)	Stickboy	5-4	All but one players scored in double digits last week, yet lost because it faced the high score of the week. In the last three weeks, they've scored the 4th most points.
	7 (7)	Dynasty	6-3	This team keeps winning, currently it's a four games in a row and faces Dragons next. Going for five in a row.
	8 (10)	Pimp Juice	4-5	Despite the injuries to this team, it's hanging in there and just came of a big win over Grease.
	9 (9)	Short Bus All-Stars	4-5	Averaging more points as each week goes by, plus this team currently has no injuries for any of it's players.
	10 (8)	Hustla	4-5	Two loses in a row, hasn't scored much in the last three weeks. Do you realize, this team will be starting two Viking players very soon, yeah, this team.
	11 (11)	Dragons	2-7	Not so fast, let me see another win and I'll bump your ranking up.
	12 (12)	Thunder Choads	0-9	Another week, another loss. With a bit of luck, you may keep the streak alive in week 10.

Commish's Corner....

According to Charley Casserly of CBS, Randy Moss and Tom Brady had to be separated in the locker room recently after getting into a heated argument.
The real impetus for the Patriots' surprising willingness to deal Moss? Brady reportedly told Moss to cut his beard, at which point Moss told Brady to cut his hair because he looks like a girl. If the story is true, it's hard to blame Moss telling Brady to essentially mind his own business. The Pats had no choice but to side with their franchise QB, though, to keep peace in the locker room.

With a slim lead of 0.26 of a point, the only unbeaten team could take it's first loss of the season. After a block buster trade, oddly enough, with this weeks opponent sending three players to each other teams has them nearly deadlocked. The difference maker is Stickboy will have running back points and a kicker versus points from a defense. Now, with Tomlinson splitting carries with Shone Green and facing the Vikings D, who knows what happens.

With a comfortable lead of 40.16, Grease appears to be on his way to a victory and potentially gaining ground on Buckwheat if he should take his first loss. Both owners were unsure of whom to start with the injury bug hitting both teams, combined with mixed reports of if said players were playing or out for the week, made for a great lineup shuffle. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight with Randy on Monday night. I'm sure he'll see the ball thrown his way, but after less than a week of practice, just how much will he be on the same page with the rest of the team? If I were to guess, Dragons will again hit his average of 100 points.

With a difference of 0.22 points between the two teams, I do believe Pimp Juice will have his second win of the season having Adrian Peterson and Shiancoe yet to play over Ryan Longwell.

Rutting Bucks will cruise to a victory this week after taking a loss in Week 4. Between Miles Austin and Malcom Floyd, 383 yards and 2 TDs. Scary. The Choads will take another loss this week, but it did get some production out of Crabtree and Sims-SkyWalker this week, plus Santonio Holmes make his debut.

One Angry Gook (3-1) East 128.18	vs	Dynasty (2-2) Central 73.60

This one is a final, One Angry Gook will move to 4-1 in the East with Dynasty falling to 2-3 in the Central. It was a solid performance fromthe bulk of the team, starters and bench. Another very strong showing in the East. Dynasty's team just didn't quite have it this week. Mario Manningham where are you? [I have him in another league and dropped him for Brandon Pettigrew] Hopefully the injuries will lesson for this team because it is taking a beating.

A lead of 27.94 with Dustin Keller and the Jets defense over Braylon Edwards for Monday's game. Should be a victory for Hustla which keeps him one game out of the division lead. Another strong Forte showing plus Philip Rivers is playing out of his mind. For the Monkeys, did Arian Foster really get benched on Sunday? Plus this team now looses yet another player for the season, Mark Clayton. There must be a lot of frustration for this owner.

	2 (3)	Grease Slappers	2-2	Second in total points scored, first in points left on the bench and the second worst starting lineup efficiency. Get it together!
	3 (2)	One Angry Gook	3-1	Current salary value of the receiving core is $18 dollars, but is currently has the 4th highest point total at the WR. Took a loss to Buckwheat, but will bounce back next week.
	4 (7)	Crippled Monkeys	2-2	I know you thought this team was out, but they have clawed their way back into the mix. After posting the high score of the week, this team is on fire.
	5 (5)	Dynasty	2-2	Posted a win this week, but I worry for this team. Injuries to Andre Johnson and Steve Smith CAR, both appear to be sidelined this coming week, leaves a big question mark for the next few weeks.
	6 (4)	Rutting Bucks	3-1	Had a rough week 4 with A-Rodge as the lone bright spot. Running backs are a bit in question, hopefully someone will rise to the top.
	7 (8)	Hustla	2-2	Can this team shake the injury bug before the season is lost?
	8 (9)	Pimp Juice	1-3	The league curse is alive and well, couldn't put up a win without the top paid player, Adrian Peterson on their BYE.
	9 (10)	Dragons	1-3	Has anyone seen Randy Moss? Earned it's first win this week by posting their average point total. The bulk of the points didn't come from the core players, so I'm not sure how to take this win. Was it a strong showing?
	10 (11)	Short Bus All-Stars	2-2	A win is a win....this team is still off to a slow start. Can it get going?
	11 (12)	Thunder Choads	0-4	On a positive note, Santonio Holmes returns from suspension this week and Marhsawn Lynch was traded away leaving CJ Spillers role to increase....
	12 (6)	Stickboy	2-2	By scoring 41.96 points in week 4, Stickboy broke the all time, single game, low score of the week which was 42.00 points. Incidentally, Stickboy broke his own record he set back in 2006. Deserving of the final ranking this week.

Fantasy Rankings Week 3

We are done with the first round of division games. Now it's time to beat up the other division during the BYE weeks.

	1 (3)	Buckwheat	3-0	Big victory over Grease pushing this team in the driver seat in the toughest division in the league.
	2 (6)	One Angry Gook	3-0	Another decisive win over a division foe. The only area this team needs improving on is the QB position, otherwise a very well rounded team.
	3 (2)	Grease Slappers	1-2	3rd in scoring, 1st in points on the bench. This team has depth going into the BYE weeks. If only it could start the right players, they could be number 1 in scoring.
	4 (1)	Rutting Bucks	3-0	I'm very concerned about the running backs now. I was in awe of the dynamics, but a key injury will hurt this team if Best is out or not at 100%.
	5 (4)	Dynasty	1-2	Had a bit of a let down last week and faces a tough Rutting Bucks next. Needs a big week or you may see this team slump.
	6 (8)	Stickboy	2-1	Surprisingly putting up decent points with a very odd roster ever time I look at it. Looks like they will loose Steven Jackson this week to injury, so we'll see how this team looks next week.
	7 (10)	Crippled Monkeys	1-2	Got it's first win in the division after a very active trading session. So far it's payed off and it appears this is now a team with depth at all positions but the RB.
	8 (5)	Hustla	2-1	Takes a hit this week with more injuries to the roster and a loss. I will give props to the recovery from a disaster of a draft night in the WR position.
	9 (7)	Pimp Juice	1-2	Remember our league curse? The team with the highest paid player has yet to make the playoffs....we are watching you closely.
	10 (9)	Dragons	0-3	Averaging 98.1 per week, not bad, just not enough so far for the first victory.
	11 (11)	Short Bus All-Star	1-2	Beyond Drew Brees, this team is starting out of the gates incredibly slow. There are plenty of big name players but they are playing under the average.
	12 (12)	Thunder Choads	0-3	After showing signs of life in week 2, this team backtracked. It's still early, but a few more weeks of little production will all but end the super bowl champs bid at a repeat.

Fantasy Rankings Week 2

It's back....you're unofficial fantasy rankings. I've tweaked my formula, changed the methodology, and even brought in a third party consultant. You think you should be ranked higher....prove it, convince me, give me your insight. With that said, here are the first rankings of the year....

	2 (2)	Grease Slappers	1-1	2nd most points scored, most points scored on the bench, plus MJD hasn't started playing this year.
	3 (3)	Buckwheat	2-0	Solid QB's and WR's, the running game, with the injury to Reggie Bush and Michael Bush returning makes me suspect, but the rest of the team should pull them through each week.
	4 (4)	Dynasty	1-1	The only problem this team has from week to week is which of the stud players to start. Plenty of talent, but someone has to sit on the bench.
	5 (5)	Hustla	2-0	This team has talent, but this team also has some projects on the roster. If they pan out, this team will be solid, but it could find themselves falling in the rankings if the WR's don't pick it up.
	6 (6)	One Angry Gook	2-0	Another well stocked team. Michael Turner will be fine, plus this team has 12 WR's on it's roster that all produce. Once the BYE weeks start, this roster will be shaken up a bit.
	7 (7)	Pimp Juice	1-1	Putting up some very decent points. Having a solid RB2 would do wonders for this team, hopefully AP will make up the difference each week.
	8 (8)	Stickboy	1-1	Some decent talent here, but another team with a lot of project players. Will they pan out, we shall see....
	9 (9)	Dragons	0-2	The receivers are hurting this team and they are off to a slow start. I recall the concern after the draft how this team could dominate, the potential is still there.
	10 (10)	Crippled Monkeys	0-2	Got the wind knocked out of them in week 1 with the loss of Ryan Grant for the season. Then saw Ryan Mathews sit because of a minor injury. This team is active behind the scenes making deals which could shore up the RB issues.
	11 (11)	Short Bus All-Star	0-2	This team has a lot of great players, but little production out of many of them. It's early, nothing to worry about yet....
	12 (12)	Thunder Choads	0-2	Had a much better Week 2 and left a lot of points on the bench. I almost wrote this team off after the first week. However, the running game is a bit of a mess.
